Welcome to the website for the Institute for Systems Biology's high school interns! During the summer of 2013, six students from local Seattle high schools were hosted for a six-week internship in the Baliga and Hood labs at ISB. Throughout this period, we completed a variety of projects and activities that improved our laboratory skills and exposed us to leading researchers and cutting-edge work. As part of our internship, we also created this website in an effort to share our experince and help promote Systems Biology education, so please read through all of the pages on our site to learn about the internship program.
