If you were wondering what the ISB interns participated in besides their projects, check down below!
July 3rd-6th: Lab Training
The interns kicked off their internship together with lab training! They learned new skills including plate streaking, DNA gel electrophoresis, and micropipetting technique.
July 16th: ISB-SCRI Crossover
12 ISB interns and 18 Seattle Children’s Research Institute interns met up at the annual ISB-SCRI crossover event!
Check out ISB intern Annabelle’s vlog to see what exciting things happened at the crossover!
Coffee Hour
Every week, ISB would host a coffee hour for anyone at ISB to attend! There, ISB staff could go and have some coffee and donuts while working on some fun puzzles with their coworkers. It was a great place for the interns to take a break and meet some new people!
August 23: Final Presentation
On their second to last day, the interns presented to all of ISB, sharing their experiences and projects, followed by a 10 minute Q&A and a poster session.
