Meet Yannell Howard,
Yannell is a student intern currently attending Pine Forest High. She hopes in her time at ISB to provide the medical community with a way to better understand severity in the respiratory system while battling comorbidities. In the fall of 2021, Yannell will be entering her senior year splitting her time as a dual-enrollment student at Pine Forest High and Pensacola State College.
Prior to Yannell joining the ISB family, she has engaged herself in several academic challenges. She is a five time Spirit of Excellence winner. She was recently inducted into the National Honors Society, and hopes to continue her education at Florida A&M University.
Aside from science, she takes pride in her vocal academics as she has spent over seven years in Choir as she has been conducted by the outstanding, Brian Parish for the last 3 years. Under his amazing directory, Yannell has gained a host of unforgettable lessons and skills! Yannell’s love for music started as a young child and has been a part of her since.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring nature. Her favorite place to visit is the park as nature’s beauty is never ending. She also enjoys the game of basketball as she played on Junior Varsity for the Parkway West Longhorns.
