During the summer of 2010, we had the opportunity to work as interns in the Baliga Lab of the Institute for Systems Biology. The Baliga lab works with extremophiles, looking at their reactions to various environmental perturbations. A sub-group of the lab works with education development designing modules based on the lab’s findings for classroom use.
As the 2010 Baliga Lab Summer Interns, we had a chance to work with the education group on several modules, testing and tweaking various aspects of the projects. This website was deigned to showcase our finding as well as some of the other projects we worked on during our summer at ISB. We invite you to take a look around. You’ll find information from our group and institute, to our experiments and interviews. Enjoy! |
