About me!
Megha Ramachandran is a senior at Tesla STEM High School in Redmond, Washington. Attending a STEM-focused school has given her the opportunity to explore a variety of scientific fields, and allowed her to find her passion for research. Megha is particularly interested in the intersection of biology and computer science, and hopes to pursue a career in computational biology research.
She has been interested in biology since an introductory class in middle school, and her interest deepened while taking AP Biology in high school. She also had the opportunity to dip her toes into the world of research through conducting an independent computational biology research project over the course of her junior year.
Outside of ISB, Megha has been learning Bharatanatyam for 8 years, and completed her Arangetram in August 2024. She also loves being involved in her community through Model United Nations, ASB, and Link Crew. In her downtime, she loves playing the piano, crafting the perfect Spotify playlist for every mood, and trying to re-create recipes from The Great British Bake-Off.
At ISB, Megha worked with Kedar under the guidance of their mentors, Dr. Lawrence Huang and Dr. Jennifer Hadlock, to develop risk models for axial spondyloarthritis.
