Lily Nino is a senior dual enrolled at South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA. She is also a full-time Running Start student at Olympic College in Bremerton. She has always been fascinated by the mysteries of science. Her passion for STEM and familial experience with autoimmune disease have led her to seek a path into research, specifically in medicine.
Lily has been interested in biology since dissecting owl pellets in the third grade, and it has deepened with every science class. Lab work and research have been a strong passion since being exposed to science pathways while taking AP Biology.
Lily enjoys the fine arts during her free time, including painting and orchestra. Lily is also active in helping her community thrive through community service as Key Club treasurer, ASB officer, and Link Crew member.
