About me!
Kedar Chintalapati is a rising senior at the Overlake School. His research interests are in computer science, with experience primarily in machine learning and computational biology. Kedar furthers his passion as a leader of Overlake’s Machine Learning Club.
At ISB, Kedar worked with Megha Ramachandran, under the mentorship of Dr. Lawrence Huang in the Hadlock Lab, applying machine learning methods to develop risk models and identify and validate biomarkers for ankylosing spondylitis.
Beyond STEM, Kedar has played the piano for 12 years, and the drums and tabla for 5 years. He loves both classical music on the piano and jazz drumming, and he plays for both his jazz band and his local communities. As a leader of his school’s Congressional Debate team, Kedar also loves to discuss policy.
