Our summer internship program and curriculum development are supported by NSF.
Our dissemination efforts are supported by both NSF and NIH's NIGMS through the Center for Systems Biology.
Support our education efforts
Original funding for materials development came from the National Science Foundation, The Stuart Foundation and the Amgen Foundation. Funding continues through NSF and NIH. However, despite significant success, federal or state funding is not an option for developing and implementing the modules on a broader scale.
You can make a difference. The Baliga Lab is currently looking for individuals and corporate sponsors to support ongoing development of the Systems Education Experiences modules as part of school curriculum.
